Hi, I'm Lambie! I'm a very smart girl who's glad she found her way into rescue. After living on a chain in the front yard of my previous home for several years, my owners decided I needed a new home. When my foster mommy picked me up, she had me groomed and started working on getting me properly socialized.
Sometimes I have a nickname- I'm the "biker chick" in my foster home. I think that's really funny, because sometimes I like to boss around my foster brothers. My foster mommy has said in the past that I need to be an only dog with no other animals or kids around, but I seem to be getting along with my roommates right now. So if you have other dogs, I'd like to meet them to see if we get along. I don't like some dogs, but I'm ok with others. My foster mommy also says I need a fenced yard. Since I lived on a chain for a few years, I don't like having things around my neck, but I'm getting used to walking on a leash while in a harness.
I still have some "baggage" that I'm working through, but my foster mommy says I'm such a smart girl, I'm working my way through things and am a wonderful eskie companion. I love to play with toys and running around my fenced yard.
I would love to find my forever home, where I can be the center of your world. Is that home with you? Feel free to email my foster mommy, Deborah, if you have any questions, deborah@eskierescuers.org, she'd be happy to hear from you!

Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
