About Baby!

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 04-016
Hi, my name is Baby! I'm a 6-year old toy American Eskimo girl who weighs all of 10 pounds! I'm VERY cute and adorable. Don't you think I'm just the most precious little girl? I'm spayed, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I'm not totally housebroken, but my foster mommy is working hard with me to help me learn to be the perfect little girl.

I'm scared to be around humans, because I haven't had anyone to love me my entire life until I was recently rescued by those nice people at Eskie Rescuers United. Now my foster mommy treats me SO very nicely and sweetly and gently. I'm just now learning about humans, but I will never bite! Once you hold me in your arms or in your lap I will sit very still and quietly. I will also stay and sleep wherever you lay me down. As for other dogs, I get along well with them but will run away if they frighten me (and I can run really fast!).

I'm a pretty little baby doll who just wants a chance to be your companion and a member of your family, something I've never had before. I need a forever family who has lots of patience and love to share with me, to help me get over my fear of humans. Will that be you? I would love to be with you in your home and have a chance at a wonderful life.

If you are interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Crestview, FL with my foster mommy, Ana. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away!

Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuersunited.org for more information on me!

You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! There is an adoption fee required to adopt me. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out our fosters as outdoor dogs.

Thank you and WOOF!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
