About Kacee (K.C.)

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 05-120
Hi, my name is Kacee, or K.C., just to be cool! I'm a handsome little 14-week old American Eskimo boy who currently weighs about 15 pounds and is growing fast! My foster mommy thinks I'll be a small standard-sized Eskie when I'm fully grown. I may not be a purebred Eskie, but does that really matter? Just take a look at my pictures and see if you can resist my adorable face! You probably can't tell from these pictures, but I have one brown eye and one hazel/green eye. (And yes, I DO like to mug for the camera!) :o)

I'm neutered and current on all my puppy vaccinations. I'm not housebroken yet (I'm still a puppy, after all), but I AM learning that potty thing, which means I get to go outside every hour, and that's cool! I'm partly crate-trained, and I do sleep and ride in my crate. I ride well in the car and I'm learning to walk on a leash--I'm a smart little guy and catch on quickly!

I get along very well with other dogs, as well as with humans (including children), and even with cats. I'm full of energy and I love to play. I have several children to play with here at my foster home, and they are lots of fun! I do like to steal their toys, however, so I need lots of supervision and patience. Puppy obedience classes would also be a good idea, to help me learn my basic commands and so I can become your perfect little boy!

I'm sweet and friendly and cuddly, and VERY loving. I love to give Eskie kisses and am always wagging my tail to show you how happy I am! I will follow you all around the house, so I can see everything that's happening in this new world of mine. (I haven't mastered going up and down stairs quite yet, but just give me a little more time! HeHe!) I will also sit calmly and quietly with you, because I love being with my people. And I don't even bark a lot!

I wear many hats as a puppy, but my favorite is as your companion. If you're looking for a bundle of joy and fun, look no further, because I'm your guy! Wouldn't you love to adopt me and make me a part of your family? I'm waiting as patiently as I can, but you know how puppies are!

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Wanda at: wanda@eskierescuersunited.org or feel free to e-mail my foster mommy directly at: sherry@eskierescuersunited.org. You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me.

There is an adoption fee required, and because I'm still so young, I need to be adopted locally, because long transports might be too hard on me. I'm in Grand Rapids, MI with my foster mommy, Sherry. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Thank you and WOOF!

K.C.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
