Greetings all you humans! I am the new and soon to be improved 11 year young Lightning Love Bug!!!
 I know it doesn't look like it from my picture but, really, I AM a miniature American Eskimo. Really! ERU rescued me in the nick of time and I am now living with my caring foster mom & dad and new pack.
Although I have cataracts and glaucoma & cannot see, I still get around very well. I learned my way around my new home in just a few days. I never have potty accidents, even though I may have diabetes & have to go outside often. I just walk to the back door & wait a minute til mom or dad opens it. Did I mention how smart I am??? That's because I'm an Eskie!!
I was SO happy to go to the vet yesterday! I don't think I ever met a doctor before & it was "almost" all fun! I have to have all 5 of my black loose teeth removed soon but I have antibiotics now that have already made me stop sniffling & sneezing so much. They said I have something called a grade 3-4 heart murmur but mommy said it will be ok & I don't have to go to the gym anymore! YEAH!! They said as soon as all those icky blood tests (that's the part that wasn't fun! I screamed at the needle & EVERYONE in Florida heard me!) come back we will know how to make me feel all better.
But for now I LOVE my new foster home!!! I am so happy here that I chatter when mommy & daddy play with me & rub me. Mommy says it is SO cute! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE belly rubs and will nuzzle ever so gently (my eyes hurt to touch them) to get as much as I can. I sleep all night and clean my bowl at every meal! I love my soft smoothie food I get to eat now!!
