Meet GIZMO and OLAF of FL!
(THEY ARE A BONDED PAIR, AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER)
Remember that ad from years ago...double your pleasure, double your fun? Ok, well now we've got you singing it to yourself. Meet our charming boys!!
Gizmo and Olaf are a bonded pair that came to ERU after their owner could no longer care for them. They adapted quickly to their foster home and their foster brothers, and are also doing well with the foster parent's kitty. We don't know how they are with small children, but they do well with older kids that want to give them the petting they crave.
They both love to go for walks (and could both use a little leash training), and are learning to enjoy vegetables as rewards for being good boys. They're both a little on the 'fluffy' side, so they have been getting frozen green beans as treats. They love their humans and although they don't want to cuddle yet, they do keep a close eye on you and on occasion you may get a small kiss. They play very lovingly with each other, and they keep a close eye on each other too -- they go outside together and then back inside together. It's taking them a little longer to do the doggy tango with their foster brothers but when the mood strikes, it's on! Both boys also love to play with toys, but watch out for those socks with Gizmo! Their foster mom says he's a bit of a thief! Lol
PLEASE NOTE: A fenced yard is preferred, but not mandatory.

Good with Dogs, Good with Adults
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
