Hello World, My name is Zack and I’m a 3 ½ month old American Eskimo puppy.  Life’s been short so I don’t remember much but there was some time in a pet store and then a family took me home where the kids played rough with me.  I didn’t know what to do except play rough right back.  That didn’t work out too good cause then I found myself at a humane society where they thought I had bad manners.  Hey give me a break, I’m only 3 months old.  Well I got rescued from that place and now I’m in heaven with my foster mom who thinks that I’m purrrrfectly Eskie.

Foster mom has been teaching me all kinds of neat new things.  I’m very observant, and I know I’m learning fast cause I get all kinds of hugs and kisses when I do stuff right.  I think I’m getting the drift now.  Mom has been giving me all kinds of chewies which I like to hide right away.  Right now I like chewing on the tree branches in the yard but I think mom is brewing an idea to get my attention onto something better.

Mom has also started teaching me how to play with doggie tug of war toys that squeak which is really neat.

We’ve gone for several rides in the car and I get to sit in the back where I behave nicely.

Mom’s other two dogs are older and very small.  They don’t seem to want to play but are good at teaching me pack manners.  I think mom has some more training work for me to do but overall I’m doing great in my new environment.

Stay tuned for updates……..and btw, Mom thinks I’m going to make some family a great Eskie pet.

 Love, Zach

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
