Hi! My name is Summit and I am looking for my new forever home. I’m a pretty eskie who is like most other eskies at first…shy and nervous around new people. It takes me a little time to warm up but my foster family found that little treats help. I was dropped off at a shelter with my 5 little puppies when they were just a few weeks old. But now they are all grown up and in their own homes. I really love my people once I know them. I love to be petted and loved…I’m just a very affectionate little girl with people that I know. However, I don’t do well with little kids so the rescue people said I have to go to a home that doesn’t have kids around. I can be a bit nippy and since the little ones are so unpredictable, it makes me really nervous! I am like most eskies in that I can be protective of my family so I need a family that really understands that eskie mentality and is willing to work with me to help me learn the right way to be around strangers. I am housetrained and I walk really well on a leash. I’m so excited to meet my new family and take long walks with them! I’m fine with other dogs but I’m not a fan of the cats so it would be best if my new home didn’t have those crazy kitties! I’m really looking forward to meeting my new family! If you are looking for a companion and want a doggie that will love you, that’s me! I just need love and training and you will find that I’m the perfect eskie! I hope you will consider giving me a chance to be in your family!
