Sir Bolt
It is with deep sadness and heartache that I announce Sir Bolt departed this world last evening surrounded by his two Daddies. He left just as he arrived with gallantry and grace. Noah
In late October I lost my Noah due to kidney failure. He was 14 1/2. Noah became my permanent foster when ERU couldn’t adopt him out due to other health issues. I only had him for a little over 2 years but the heartbreak is all the same. I loved my boy very much and I know he is at peace. I miss you, my Noah…….Donna Drelich, October 2021

Jett
Jett came into ERU in 2016 when he found himself in a high kill shelter in Georgia. ERU didn’t hesitate to rescue him & place him on a Pilots N Paws flight to get him to his foster in South Florida. ERU made sure he had hip surgery & was happy & healthy in no time. Jett recovered fully & quickly, no doubt because of his sunny attitude. He liked to play with other dogs & loved to snuggle. If you set a bed, towel, or anything he could turn into a “nest”, he would happily plop himself on it. He was adopted by a lovely couple who already had a rescue sister for him. Jett loved her & his human family. He was a funny dog full of silly antics. His family & foster will love him & laugh at the memory of his funny personality forever. His family wants everyone involved with his rescue & well wishes that they are grateful……Mayli Someillan, September 20, 2021

Shimmer
Shimmer is a sweet diva who really appreciates love and pampering. Maybe it’s because she came from a neglect case in which she received neither the food nor the love she deserves. Nowadays, she really enjoys hanging out on the couch with people, especially while receiving body rubs & head massages. This little girl was never walked in her former life, but now that she knows what a walk is, she would love to take a zillion walks a day! Shimmer likes to run, jump and play, and she loves everyone she meets, even kids & cats. Shimmer loves car rides & would like to go shopping with you. Although she can be around other dogs, she would prefer to have all the attention (and toys) to herself. Because Shimmer comes from a neglect situation, she has suffered from skin issues which have caused her some hair loss; however, it’s this same life of neglect which has made her into a grateful dog who appreciates any attention and love you give her……….Summer Lynn, May 26, 2021

Frosty
My first foster for Eskie Rescuers United passed away. He came to me from NC when his owner passed away. For sure he was one of the smartest and sweetest. Thanks to him, I made a forever friend with his mom. I'm grateful that ERU gave me the chance to foster him. He will always be in my heart.......Mayli Someillan, April 16, 2021
